In celebration of this week's winter weather, let's take a moment to reminisce about the inaugural #HarristonHometownChristmas held earlier this month! ❄️🎄 A heartfelt thank you extends to all the volunteers, community groups, and vendors whose collective efforts brought this festive day to life. 👏 Special shout-out to the Minto-Clifford Public School, whose choir kicked off the event with magical songs, the Harriston Legion Ladies for preparing a delicious lunch, the Harriston Library for hosting various kid's activities throughout the day, 📚🎨 as well as Santa & his penguin friend who made their way up to spread holiday cheer! 🎅🐧 This event was made possible through the collaboration of #HarristonRising and the @MintoFireDept., & we couldn't be happier to share the holiday cheer with you! 🌟

#Harriston's sweetest night out was an absolute blast! 🍭🍸 We lucked out with amazing weather and a stunning evening for an unforgettable Sip & Shop experience in #downtown at #CandyCanesAndCocktails last night! 💓 Huge shoutout to everyone who made the night truly magical! Our heartfelt thanks go to the incredible volunteers on the #HarristonRising committee, the vibrant #downtown businesses, the talented bakers at Sugar Rush Square, the fantastic vendors in various stores, the local youth musicians who rocked the stage, DJ Cody, the amazing team at @thedrinkdenmobile, the creative minds behind the photo booths, the delicious food trucks, and the exceptional local distilleries. Special kudos to our hardworking Public Works & Community Services departments for their invaluable support in organizing this spectacular event. What a spook-tacular night in #Downtown Harriston at this year's #HarristonHalloweenHaunt. 🎃👻 On Friday, October 27th, hundreds of ghouls, ghosts, and their fam-boo-lies joined us for tricks, treats, and freaky Friday fun! 🍬🎉 Thank you so much to Eh-2-Zed for donating chocolate bars handed out throughout the evening, Eric Cox Sanitation, and all the other businesses & groups. #local businesses + community groups for handing out candy, running game stations, haunting their storefronts & buildings, and joining us to make Harriston SCARE-iston! 👹🍫 A HUGE hats off to all the incredible volunteers who helped decorate, organize & execute the event! 🙌👏 Wishing you all a Happy Halloween & spook ya next year! 🧛‍♂️🕷️🦇
