Registration will open on October 1st, 2025 at 6 pm.
Please Note: New this year, bags for trick-or-treating will NOT be supplied.
Please bring your own bag to collect candy to the event.

Pre-Carved Jack-O'-Lantern Contest: 6pm-7pm
Youth Dance for ages 8-13 from 7pm-10pm
Join the Monster Mash!
Come join us for a spooktacular time & join our monster mash of tricks, treats, and spooky surprises for all ages at participating businesses.
Dress up in your best costume and get ready to show off your spooky spirit. From trick-or-treating, games, and haunted downtown buildings, there's something for everyone at Harriston Halloween Haunt.
Don't miss out on the thrills and chills that await you at this ghoulishly good event!
There is a maximum capacity for this event so pre-registration is required.
Downtown Trick-or-Treating, Games, & Haunted Buildings
The main event!
6:00pm - 8:00pm
Check-in at Tannery Park to get your passport, then visit stations hosted by local businesses and community groups for trick-or-treating and games.
Some businesses will be open with food, food trucks will be available for dining, and the Harriston Town Hall Theatre will be haunted for you to explore!
NOTE: New this year, bags will NOT be supplied. Please bring your own bag for trick-or-treating. Thank you!
This event is for all ages, but recommended for 12 and under. Children are required to have a parent/guardian with them.
Pre-Carved Jack-O'-Lantern Competition
Enter to win 1 of 3 prizes!
Judging at 7:00 pm
Bring a pre-carved jack-o-lantern to the event to enter to win.
Check in at Tannery Park, and a volunteer will show you where to display your pumpkin. Tea lights will be provided.
A panel of local judges will choose winners in three categories at 7:00 pm.
We request that you pick up your pumpkin and take it home at the end of the night.
Registration is not required, but recommended, so we have an idea of how many pumpkins will be in competition!

Dance the night away!
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Youth ages 8-13 are welcome to get dressed up in costume and join in the upstairs of the Legion to monster mash the night away!
Pop & snacks are available for sale.
Free admission to attend.
Parents are welcome to enjoy a drink in the clubroom downtown at the legion.
Registration is not required, but recommended to give us an idea of attendance numbers!
